Shameless star Tina Malone has revealed she lost 12 stone after 'lifestyle overhaul' in the last few years. Viewers of the show said the actress, 60, looked "unrecognisable" as she appeared on Good Morning Britain to take part in a debate about junk food.

The Mimi Maguire actress was in the ITV studio to take part in a discussion about the sale of late-night kebabs and if they contribute to the obesity crisis, writes The Mirror.Tina said: "As somebody who has always struggled with my weight having lost 12 stone and it's difficult in the current times we live in, the challenging times we live in. "We all tend to look for different crutches. "I think I am more likely to go in and get a sausage roll and the pasties - everything in moderation - if it's at the end of my road and its open at 12 at night."It's like everything - I'm 25 years sober, 10 years drug free but if you have an addictive personality, if something is tempting you the more likely you are, especially in these difficult times."And fans flocked to Twitter to speak about how different Tina looks.
