Sabrina Carpenter to Compete for Best New Artist Nomination, Beyoncé to Compete in Country Category at Grammys 2025!

The “Espresso” singer will appear on the ballot for Best New Artist, and the Cowboy Carter superstar will compete for Best Country Album when the Recording Academy decides on its nominees, via THR.
The Academy held its screening committee meeting last week, where members determined where albums or songs will compete, as well as who qualified for Best New Artist. Sabrina is the frontrunner alongside Chappell Roan, according to the report. Beyoncé’s submission to Best Country Album arrives seven years after the Recording Academy’s country committee rejected “Daddy Lessons” from 2016’s Lemonade.
If she gets a Country nomination, it would be her first in the genre and she would become the rare artist who has scored nominations across multiple genres at the Grammys.
