New police bodycam footage from the USA shows a 22-year-old chatting briefly with a cop the night he went missing. Riley Strain has now been missing for approximately 10 days, disappearing on the night of March 8, after being kicked out of a bar in Nashville.

Now, footage released by the Metro Nashville Police Department, recorded that night at approximately 9:50pm local time shows the University of Missouri student interacting with an officer, the Mirror reports. "How you doing sir?" the cop asks Riley. "I'm good how're you?" the student responds. "Good," the officer says as he continues to look into a red pick up truck, that he seemed to be investigating, parked on the street.

He then goes to the car, looking for signs of a burglary. When he turned back around, Riley was gone. The footage ends with the cop saying "(I'm over here) on Gay Street near First avenue." The officer was unaware that after his short interaction with the college student, Riley would go missing, sparking an urgent manhunt for the 22-year-old.

The Metro Nashville Police Department posted the footage on X writing: "Shown was Riley's brief exchange of greetings w/ Officer Reginald Young on Gay St., south of the Woodland St.
