A gardening expert has shared a genius life hack that they use to pot their new plants for the summer season - which is perfect for those who don't like to make a mess.The man, who goes by @joesgarden on TikTok, shared the video to his 1.6 million followers back in 2022 that has wowed people who tend to make a mess when potting new plants.The video, which boasts 845,000 views, garnered 96,000 likes and over 1,000 comments with people praising the simple trick.In the video, the expert places a plant inside its new pot while keeping the original pot around the roots of it.

He then added soil around the new plant until it is filled to the top.Then , he pulls the plant out and shows the soil that now has an empty square in the middle.
