A rapper has been cleared of being involved in plotting a shooting after a gunman opened fire at a house. Olu Tunde Finni, known by his stage name Tunde, was a rising star in the music industry and had performed with other well known musicians including Moston born rapper Aitch.
He was accused of arranging a shooting in 'revenge' after his ex-girlfriend's car had been damaged. But a jury found him not guilty of a serious firearms offence, and he walked free from court as an innocent man.
Four other men on trial were also acquitted of similar offences. Jurors at Manchester Crown Court heard that the gunman opened fire at a house in Burnage on September 27, 2020.
Prosecutors were unable to say who the man firing the gun was, but they claimed Mr Finni was involved in arranging the shooting.
