A parole hearing for one of the two killers a who brutally murdered two-year-old James Bulger thirty years ago is set to take place over the next two days.
The session will consider whether Jon Venables can be released after his latest sentence for possessing child abuse images. It will be held in private due to a long-standing legal order preventing the public identification of Venables.
James Bulger's mother Denise has previously urged officials to keep Venables behind bars - but she, along with other members of James' family, will be barred from attending the hearing.
