Strictly Come Dancing fans have shared their concerns for Nigel Harman after a 'doomed' dance during this week's live show. Former Eastenders star Nigel and his professional partner Katya Jones took to the dance floor to perform a rumba to the song It’s All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion.

The actor got some positive comments from the judges, with Anton Du Beke calling the performance “super duper”, and scored 33 points in total.

Their score landed them second to bottom on the leaderboard - but fans have predicted that the couple will be saying their goodbyes this week after being given a particularly difficult dance. Not only did Nigel have to do a rumba but he had to perform second on the night, in what has been dubbed 'the death slot'.

Superstitious fans say there is a pattern of dancers going second coming to the end of their journey on the show. Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their predictions, with some suggesting the show's producers knew what they were doing. "Oh god the producers giving Nigel a rumba and the death slot second on, they want him gone don’t they," one said.
