Princess Anne is opening up about her thoughts on King Charles’ Coronation which is set to take place on Saturday (May 6). King Charles is the longest-serving heir apparent in British history. “Well, you know what you’re getting because he’s been practicing for a bit, and I don’t think he’ll change,” Princess Anne said in a new interview. I’m not quite sure what else we can do.” She also acknowledged that people are having many conversations about whether or not the monarchy is relevant today. “I think it’s perfectly true that it is a moment when you need to have that discussion, but I would just underline that the monarchy provides with the constitution a degree of long-term stability that is actually quite hard to come by any other way,” Princess Anne said.
