Prince Harry's intention to "step in" to help the Royal Family amid a period of crisis was quickly shot down by brother William who has "drawn a line in the sand", a royal source has said.A former butler for the Firm claims that the Prince of Wales has "had enough" of the Duke of Sussex and believes one member holds the key to saving the Royal Family from their on-going struggles. It's no secret that the Royal Family has endured a rough start to the year, with King Charles and the Princess of Wales forced to step back from duties due to health problems.
According to Paul Burrell, a former servant of the British Royal Household, it seems like "things are changing" within the family that "can't keep going" at the same pace.Mr Burrell believes the "only person" who can save the family is "stoic" and "reliable" Princess Anne, who is often referred to as the hardest-working royal, the Mirror reports.
He added that King Charles' "natural" would have been Kate and William, but the former is "too tied up" with family as his wife takes time out.Because of this, the first half of the year could be "very slow" for the royals before they "restart" at Trooping the Colour in July, Mr Burrell said.
He also said that there is "no place" for the Duke of Sussex in the royal fold as "too much has been said" since he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals and moved to the US.According to the former butler, Harry probably believed there was a possibility for him to "put on a uniform and do a few jobs for William and Charles" but this seems unlikely - as his brother no longer trusts him.
