Police smash into home and arrest pensioners, 86 and 81, for growing drugs and man, 43, for rape

Three people have been arrested in connection with child sexual exploitation offences dating back to the early 2000s.

Officers carried out raids in Stockport today (November 3) as part of Operation Green Jacket. The operation relates to child sexual exploitation (CSE) offences which reportedly took place back in 2004.

This morning, officers arrested three people taking the total number arrested as part of the operation to 46. An 86-year-old man and 81-year-old woman were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and cultivating cannabis. All three remain in police custody for questioning.
