Police officers 'waking in night with panic attacks' after being left traumatised by UK riots

The shocking revelation emerged in a Liverpool Crown Court hearing on Wednesday when PCC Kennedy went on record detailing three men's sentencing involved in the unrest plaguing Merseyside last week.
As per Sky News reports, between July 31, each day saw the deployment of more than 150 constables from her force and anywhere from 75 to 150 from other organisations to manage the disorder.
In addition, an operational team of 55 staff, including specialist online incident investigators, currently handles the investigation of the uproar which implies "taking staff away from investigating other crimes", a fiscally challenging feat given the glaring £21m budget deficit.
