I had the police at my door one day. It was back in the day when I was living in my flat up in East Kilbride."I shouldn't be going into it too much but the police came to my door just to let me know that somebody had actually escaped.

They brought me a photograph of the person."McCoist admitted he was scared by the police warning and would have felt more equipped to deal with the situation if the fan was a male.However he saw the funny side of the story when asked to confirm if it was a woman.He added: "That's an incredible thing to say.
