Police launch hunt for man in connection with incident at Ayr supermarket

Cops have launched a hunt for a man they are eager to talk to in connection with an incident inside an Ayr supermarket earlier this year.Police have today released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist their probe into an incident which took place within Tesco on Whitletts Road.The incident occurred around 10pm on Tuesday, April 18.The image released shows the man near to self-scan checkouts inside the megastore.

The man pictured is described as white, approximately 6 feet with an average build and wearing black trousers, a black Puma t-shirt and a black baseball cap.

Constable James McAllister said: “We are eager to talk to the male in this image and would ask him or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch as soon as possible”.
