A woman has told of how she managed to spend a week in the sun without using any annual leave for work. Amy Irvine, 27, was lapping up the sunshine in Marbella but didn't have to book any holidays from her job.The head of a digital PR company was accompanied on her trip with colleague and friend, Olivia Smith, also 27.

The pair booked themselves in to a nice hotel and were enjoying catching some rays under the Spanish sun from the comfort of their balcony, reports Wales Online. The two women utilised a policy in Amy company's that allows employees to work from anywhere in the world in a remote fashion.

They even used their lunch breaks for a swim in the hotel pool and were able to work while casting their eyes on the beach just a short walk away.In the evenings, the pair enjoyed drinks and dinner.

Amy, from Cumbria, admits this isn't the first time she's applied the policy after a getaway in Kielder Forest in Northumbria for her mum's 50th and a trip to Whitby to extend a holiday.
