Pensioner, 87, reported missing from Scots care home as police launch search
dailyrecord.co.ukAn urgent search has been launched for a pensioner who disappeared from a Scots care home this afternoon.Police officers are currently searching for Jessie Leckie who was last seen leaving a care home in Corstorphine, Edinburgh.Concern is growing for the 87-year-old's welfare after she was spotted leaving the home at 3.05pm on Sunday.Jessie is described as being around 5ft 1 and of slim build, with white hair and glasses.She was wearing a navy blue knee length coat, navy blue trousers and black shoes at the time of her disappearance.
She also walks using a walking stick.Officers are urging anyone who may have seen Jessie, or who has any information on her whereabouts, to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting incident number 3022 of 08/01/23.
