Toddler left 'seriously injured' after being struck by van outside care home

A young boy has been left 'seriously injured' after being struck by a van outside of a care home. Police have confirmed that the two-year-old is still in hospital after the crash.

The incident occurred earlier this week in Wales, with a black Volkswagen Transporter being involved in the collision. Wales Online reports that the crash near a Merthyr Tydfil care home was reported to police shortly before 10.50am on January 25.South Wales Police say the boy remains hospitalised with serious injuries and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.
