Peacock has released the full trailer of Apples Never Fall, the limited series starring Annette Bening and Sam Neill, based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel. “You can spend a lifetime with someone as a wife or as a mother, but you can never really know who they are,” Bening’s Joy says in the trailer.
The series revolves around the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family, anchored by former tennis coaches Stan (Neill) and Joy (Bening), who have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives.
Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Essie Randles play Stan and Joy’s adult children in the 7-episode series written and executive produced by Melanie Marnich.
The logline for the show says that “everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing.
