Painter caught with knife with 28in blade in Lanarkshire town centre

A painter was warned he could be jailed after he was caught with a huge knife in Wishaw town centre. The fearsome weapon had a 28-inch blade, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard this week.

John Morton, 26, admitted possession of the knife without reasonable excuse in Stewarton Street on March 27.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
