Olly Alexander has spoken out after facing backlash to his first live performance of his Eurovision Song Contest entry on Tuesday night.
The star is representing the UK at the event on Saturday with his track 'Dizzy' and last night he unveiled it for it's UK TV debut as the semi-finals hit screens.
Former Cyprus contestant Eleni Foureira opened the BBC show featuring back-up dancers all in black as she dazzled in a sparkly outfit.
However, it was Olly's slot that got everyone talking.The Years & Years frontman, 33, was thrilled to perform the first hit single he penned under his own name - but viewers tuning in didn't seem to all agree, as they took to social media to criticise his vocals.
