Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has accused the Glazer family of "neglecting" both Old Trafford and the club's Carrington training base.

Both the stadium and the training facilities are in desperate need of modernisation to keep up with their leading Premier League counterparts, as well as their European rivals.

The Glazers have refused to invest in the infrastructure of either site in recent years and that is another reason why the supporters are so desperate to see the back of them.

They are, of course, still in the process of trying to either sell the club or welcome fresh investment from elsewhere. Recent reports have claimed that British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is closing in on securing a stake in the club.
