Christopher Bunn, 33, was driving his Seat in Galley's Bank, Kidsgrove, when he lost control, flipping his car in the resulting collision.

Police scrambled to the scene said they could tell the defendant had been drinking, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live. He was taken to the police station where he was breathalysed and gave a reading of 47 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, against the legal limit of 35.
