People across the UK are sweating through the heatwave which is common in hot weather. But if you notice your body odour smelling funky, it could be down to what you're eating.
That's according to the nutrition experts at Prepped Pots who have shared what foods and drinks can alter our sweat. Body odour can be impacted by many factors including hormone changes, hygiene levels and even medications.
But the food we eat also plays a role in the sweat we release - with some emitting more unpleasant smells than others.From potent ingredients to garlic to well loved drinks like coffee, there are certain snacks and beverages that should be avoided if you want your sweat to be odourless.
Ashleigh Tosh, health and nutrition expert at Prepped Pots, said: “Body odour is completely natural, but the smell of it often comes down to a mixture of different things - including the foods you consume.
