K.J. Yossman Nick Cave’s “The Death of Bunny Munro” has added “Bad Sisters” star Sarah Greene and “Without Sin’s” Johann Myers as it finalizes its cast.
Greene and Myers are set to join previously-announced Matt Smith (“House of the Dragon”) in the show, which is a darkly funny yet tender examination of the relationship between a man and his son.
Greene will play Libby while Myers takes on the role of Poodle. Smith stars as the titular Bunny Munro. Pete Jackson (“Somewhere Boy”) has adapted Cave’s novel into a six-part series, produced by Clerkenwell Films (“Baby Reindeer”) in association with Sky Studios.
Isabella Eklöf (“Holiday”) directs. Also joining the cast are Robert Glenister (“Sherwood”) as Geoffrey, Alice Feetham (“Boiling Point”) as Yvonne, David Threlfall (“Shameless”) as Bunny Snr, Lindsay Duncan (“The Morning Show”) as Doris Pennington and Elizabeth Berrington (“Last Night in Soho”) as Charlotte Parnovar. “Following his wife Libby’s suicide, sex addict, door-to-door beauty product salesman and self-professed lothario Bunny Munro finds himself saddled with a young son and only a loose concept of parenting.
