Netflix viewers 'cant' get over' the platform's latest mini-drama which tells the harrowing story of the world's worst industrial disaster.

Fans have the four-parter 'eye opening' and 'gut wrenching'. In December 1984, the central Indian city of Bhopal was devastated by a chemical accident at a pesticide plant.

Some half a million people were exposed to the highly toxic gas methyl isocyanate. Almost 600,000 people were thought to have been injured in the disaster and its aftermath, while figures estimate a total of 16,000 people died in total, from both the initial exposure and over the years from chemical-related diseases.

The Railway Men - The Untold Story Of Bhopal 1984 tells the story of the railway men who risked their lives to help others after the accident. Released on November 18, The Railway Men is made up of four episodes, all roughly an hour long.
