Aberdeen's bullied players need to pick themselves up off the floor and show Neil Warnock and the Red Army they have what it takes to try to salvage their stuttering season. The Dons squad were floored by Killie and then had to take it on the chin from their own interim-manager after he accused them of being bullied at Rugby Park.
The inconsistency of this Aberdeen team cost Barry Robson his job and has since seen the board take it in the neck from the fans in a stuttering season, which promised so much but has delivered very little.Former midfielder Stevie Tosh believes the players have been protected too long and need to take their share of the responsibility and get Aberdeen into the top six, starting with tomorrow night’s home game with St Johnstone.
Tosh stated: “I don’t think the manager has said anything the majority of the Aberdeen fans, who were at Kilmarnock, would argue against.“Their performance wasn’t good enough.
For me, it was a must-win game and they never laid a glove on Kilmarnock, whether that be shots on target, chances created or putting in a tackle here and there.“He (Warnock) has been damning but it probably had to be said.
