Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.
Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

The 46-year-old has been on the Dons’ radar for more than a year. The Swede, who was previously linked with Sunderland, is one of the names being considered but there has been no approach made to Elfsborg.He was of interest to Aberdeen before the job was given to Barry Robson last season.
Thelin’s lack of experience in the British game is a concern, especially with the Dons facing a possible relegation fight. The Pittodrie side, after Wednesday night's defeat at Dundee, are just three points away from the relegation play-off position.

They know they are under pressure to get things right, after they sacked Barry Robson and the sudden departure of interim boss Neil Warnock.They are in the process of making approaches to clubs and speaking to candidates.
