Mystery as two identical Mercedes with same number plates seen parked side by side

A man was left stunned after spotting two identical cars parked alongside each other - and they even had the same number plate.John Gargett was wandering along the street in Eastwood, Yorkshire, in March 2022 when he noticed the pair of silver Mercedes-Benz vehicles.The flash cars appeared to be the same model and the only visible difference was a dent in one car's rear bumper, Yorkshire Live reports.At the time, the DVLA vehicle checker showed the double-up licence plate was registered to a silver Mercedes - and was taxed for a further 11 months, with an MOT due at the same time.Mr Gargett became an anti-crime crusader in the area after the estate took a turn for the worse.
