A mum has described her shock after finding out that the five-week-long migraine her daughter suffered from was actually a tumour.

Mahta Mohseni and her husband Reza Tohid took their daughter Maya to the A+E three times after she developed a migraine that made her throw up every five days.

Not knowing what was wrong with their daughter, the desperate parents were told by doctors that she had a migraine. However, it was soon revealed that she had Craniopharyngioma - a rare tumour that mainly affects children and young people. After an MRI scan it was revealed that she had she actually had a 3.5cm x 2.8cm x 2.3cm brain tumour and she was diagnosed in June.
