A shopkeeper insists he was 'never going to change the name' of his business - despite its striking resemblance to a famous supermarket.
Retro Xpress has welcomed customers on Chorley Road, in Swinton, Salford, for more than a decade. The store has built a loyal customer base over that time.
But aside from its well-stocked shelves, there's something else which keeps the shop in the mind of locals. The popular shop has been praised for its 'clever marketing' - with a cheeky sign using a similar logo to the major national chain, Tesco Express. Ryan Moss, who previously worked in the shop, said everyone in the area knows the store and enjoys the visual similarities with the more famous retailer.
