Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger was bowled over by the support of her friends and co-stars as she briefly broke away from the cobbles for another role.
The actress, who plays Glenda Shuttleworth in the ITV soap, returned to her musical theatre roots over the weekend. For one night only on Sunday (February 25), Jodie took on the role of Mama Rose in Gypsy at Manchester Opera House.
She lead an all-star cast in the special concert production of the musical to raise funds for Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre.
She was joined on the stage by Corrie co-star Peter Gunn as Pop/Mr Goldstone, EastEnders' Harriet Thorpe as Tessie, TV star Matthew Kelly as Uncle Jocko, musical theatre star Tom Lister as Herbie and Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo as Mazeppa.
