An MSP from Lanarkshire is looking to take the lead and wow judges with her prized pooch.Meghan Gallacher and a Dogs Trust rescue dog will compete with other politicians and their canine companions to win the coveted title of Holyrood Dog of the Year.Dogs of all shapes and sizes, regardless of breed, creed or ‘pawlitical’ persuasion, will be strutting their stuff with their MSP owners, as they head to the Scottish Parliament Gardens in Edinburgh on April 29 to see who will be crowned top dog.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
