Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's desperate attempts to reshape their narrative have been "blown out of the water", a royal expert claims. The past year has been somewhat of a tremulous ride for the Sussexes, with their multi-million dollar contract with Spotify being terminated and no end in sight to their frosty relations with the Royal Family.Last month, royal author Omid Scobie stirred the pot even more in the ongoing Sussex-Royal feud as his explosive new book Endgame hit the shelves.Scobie, who previously wrote a very precarious biography that largely favoured the couple, appeared to re open some old wounds when he reignited a race row in the family, the Mirror reports. It came after a Dutch edition of his new book named the two members of the Firm who allegedly raised 'concerns' about the colour of Prince Archie's skin before he was born. The shocking claims were first made in 2021 during the Sussexes' bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in which Meghan claimed that a member of the Firm had questioned how dark her son's skin would be but refused to name the culprit.Speaking to True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson says the book has really derailed the Sussexes' attempts at changing public perception.

He explained: "I thought they were doing really well keeping out of negative headlines...but Endgame blew that all out of the water and then all the negative headlines went back on to them.

I think they are going in the right direction. "They are trying to market Meghan as a California girl, and I think they just need to carry on down that kinder gentler route, not having rows with the Royal Family and just enjoying their life in California.
