Teen girl raped at Center Parcs after kind family let man stay with them
dailyrecord.co.ukA teenage girl was raped at Center Parcs after her family let a man stay in their campervan. Caden Crossley was granted permission to stay in their lodge after he was kicked out of his own cabin by his partner, following a row in the summer of 2022.
But then Crossley carried out a “cruel and cynical” sex attack on a teen girl at the Sherwood Forest resort in Nottinghamshire.
Nottingham Crown Court heard the victim woke in her bedroom to find Crossley lying in her bed before he touched her sexually and raped her.As reported by Nottinghamshire Live, police launched an investigation and forensics proved the 29-year-old was responsible for the attack.
The victim has been referred to as Child E, to protect her identity during legal proceedings.Handing him a 12-year jail sentence, Judge Michael Auty KC said: "You were turfed out of your own lodge and were effectively homeless and Child E's mother took you in out of the kindness of her heart.
