Manchester United have begun their pre-season fixture schedule in positive fashion with victory over rivals Leeds United and two players in particular caught the eye of club legends Henning Berg and Ronny Johnsen.
United headed over to Oslo on Wednesday evening to take on the recently relegated Elland Road side. Erik ten Hag gave minutes to members of his squad, including new signing Mason Mount, as the Reds beat the Whites 2-0 in Norway.
United broke the deadlock in the second half of the encounter. Noam Emeran put United in front on the hour mark, finishing off a counter-attack to slot home, before Joe Hugill fired home with fewer than 10 minutes remaining after being teed up by Shola Shoretire.
