Man taken to hospital after 'dangerous driving' arrest following early hours smash
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man was arrested before being taken to hospital following an early hours smash. The crash happened on Kingsway near Parrs Wood at around 5am this morning (Friday, November 17).
A stretch of the northbound side of the road was closed off as emergency services responded. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the driver was arrested on the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.
He was then taken to hospital, though his injuries are not believed to be serious at this stage. The M.E.N understands the closure was lifted at around 7.30am. A GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called to the scene in Parrs Wood at around 5am on Friday (November 17) to a one-vehicle crash.
