Man accused of crossbow murders 'paralysed' after 'piercing own spinal cord'

A man arrested over the crossbow killings of three women in England has reportedly been left paralysed.Kyle Clifford, 26, has still not been questioned by police over the deaths of Carol Hunt and her two daughters, Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

They were the family of BBC 5 Live racing commentator John Hunt.After a manhunt, which lasted several hours, Clifford was found unconscious in a cemetery in Enfield, London and rushed to hospital.

He remains under arrest in hospital, and it has now been reported that he has been left paralysed from a self-inflicted wound.

He is said to have injured his upper body before police could reach him, piercing his own spinal cord. Hertfordshire Police are yet to question him as a result of his injuries.
