Love Island fans found themselves cringing after watching Sammy Root and Jess Harding spend a night in the hideaway.The hideaway is the villa’s famous private room, where couples can finally get some alone time after spending the rest of their time surrounded by other Islanders.

And it was Sammy and Jess’s time in the hideaway on Friday night (July 22), after the couple had seen some difficult times in the villa, being separated and exploring connections with other people before ultimately ending up together.The other Islanders decided it was time for the pair to get a special night alone in the hideaway, which saw Sammy and Jess explore their connection further behind closed doors.

However, some viewers were less than impressed with the scenes after the couple snuggled up on the bed and Jess was seen asking where the condoms were.

One account on Twitter wrote: “Is this a form of torture making us watching Sammy and Jess in the hideaway."
