Farage was under fire from First Dates star Fred Sirieix, who launched a verbal attack on the former UKIP leader over Brexit and branded his campaign as "shameful".The 51-year-old Frenchman had been with the failed politician for less than two days before he questioned Farage's tactics and motivation for wanting the UK to leave Europe in 2016.
Fred said the average person had "lost out" now that the UK was no longer part of the EU, but Farage insisted "they haven't lost out" despite multiple problems for the country since it left the union.And Scots star Lorraine piled on to the discourse about Farage on her ITV show on Tuesday, as she was left in disbelief at his age.
Lorraine had been chatting to Edwina Currie about life in the celebrity jungle as Edwina spoke of why she thinks he went on to I’m A Celeb.
She said: “I think he’s in there because he thinks he can enhance his reputation.“He’s seen as a responsible, intelligent and worthy person of some kind or other.
