Lizzo is no stranger to the Grammys. The singer-songwriter-rapper-flautist-goddess has already notched 13 Grammy nominations and three wins.
This year, “About Damn Time” was nominated for record of the year, song of the year, and best pop solo performance. Her album Special, meanwhile, was nominated for album of the year as well as best pop vocal album.
Anyone who watched her HBO documentary Love, Lizzo knows how hard the artist worked on Special, so a few Grammy noms is no less than she deserves. “I feel like I've been on a first date with the world for like three years,” Lizzo told in a November 2022 interview. “I'm good at everything.
