dailyrecord.co.ukCarpet cleaning bosses have become internet sensations -after a kind hearted customer got up at 6am to lay on their lunch.Business owners Dean Gillespie and Mark Mackenzie were stunned to arrive at their job and discover the customer had prepared a homecooked meal for their break.
Galston customer Kayleigh had gone to incredible lengths to even prepare a table filled with snacks in a side room for the hungry boys to rest up.
The note said: "Help yourself to soup, bread/toasties, tea, coffee, juice, biscuits, crisps. Table and chairs set up in the room if you need it to eat."A photo of the note was posted on the Ultimate Restoration Facebook page and has since racked up more than four million views and 7.3k likes.
The duo opened the firm two years ago and have been operating around Ayrshire ever since.Dean said: "Most of the time we are offered coffee but on this particular visit the homeowner Kayleigh got up at 6am to make a pot of soup and laid a table in her spare room for us to eat. "We can't thank Kayleigh enough for our homemade soup, it was delicious and exactly what we needed in the cold weather. "It's extremely kind and just a lovely small gesture that would usually go unnoticed.
