He's best known for writing and starring in Gavin & Stacey, as well as hosting The Late Late Show, but James Corden's TV career actually began on a CBBC programme.The star made his first television appearance in 1996, when he was 18 years old.
James, 45, portrayed a character named Lee in the kids TV sitcom Out of Tune, which aired from 1996 until 1998. Out of Tune followed a group of children who are part of a church choir at a school.
The fictional show focused on the kids' practise sessions and the various events that frequently disrupted them. Out of Tune aired on BBC One on certain weekdays, with a total of 40 episodes across three series.
James wasn't the only famous face to begin his career on Out of Tune. Soap legend Jane Danson, AKA Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby, also starred in the kids series, as well as Charlie Brooks, famed for portraying Janine Butcher in EastEnders.
