Jail for Lanarkshire man after cop raid nets thousands of pounds worth of drugs

A Blantyre man who claimed he sold drugs to fund his own addiction has been jailed for nearly two years.Heroin, cannabis and amphetamine worth thousands of pounds were seized when police raided Daniel Allan's home in Springwell Crescent on February 18, 2022.Allan, 34, admitted being concerned in the supply of the drugs and also assaulting a man in Wolcott Drive, Blantyre, on July 17, 2021.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Allan then helped the victim to his feet before joining his friend in the car which drove off."A neighbour had watched the incident unfold and contacted the police.
