Lanarkshire housebreaker jailed after leaving glove and footprint at property where he stole medication

A Lanarkshire housebreaker who left a glove and a footprint at the scene has been jailed for a year. Brian Hunstone kicked in the door of a property before stealing medication and a box containing £30 in cash.

Hunstone, 42, of Wide Close, Lanark, was sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
