ITV The Chase star turns up at university quiz night — and students are chuffed

However, some lucky university students got to see Shaun Wallace, also known as 'the Dark Destroyer', in action when he hosted their Freshers Quiz on Tuesday, 17 September, in Hull.
The 64-year-old Chaser is a British barrister, quiz expert, and lecturer, best known for competing on the show by answering trivia questions.
This time, though, it was his turn to ask the questions. In a video that's been viewed over 1,600 times on social media, he was welcomed by a cheering crowd of students who were competing for a £250 cash prize and a Chase mug.
Shaun was seen walking on stage to meet the students, who were excited to face his questions. He said: "We're gonna have a fantastic time tonight." "At the end of the quiz, I brought my own special spot prize where one lucky recipient will win a Chase mug and a copy of probably the greatest autobiography ever written — Chasing the dream!
