ITV The Chase's Anne Hegerty addresses future on show after sharing fears
ok.co.ukAnne Hegerty, beloved as The Governess on ITV's hit quiz show The Chase, recently caught up with OK! for an exclusive interview, where she opened up about her long-standing commitment to the show and her hopes for its future.
When asked about her plans for the future on The Chase, Anne responded with enthusiasm, saying: "As long as they'll have me." She added: "I don't have any plans to retire.This is the little workhorse that makes everything else possible, and I love doing it." Describing The Chase as "the best job I've ever had," Anne expressed her willingness to continue as long as the show wants her.
As part of her role, the 65 year old goes head to head with contestants in a test of general knowledge in a bid to stop them from building up their prize fund and walking home with the jackpot.
Having been part of The Chase for 15 years, Anne also shared her admiration for her fellow chaser Paul Sinha, whom she dubbed their best quizzer out of all the chasers.
