Marshall Hamston's agony over sad death in Emmerdale

The teen, who moved in with Laurel earlier this year after she discovered he was being abused by homophobic dad Colin (Mark Noble), has been struggling in recent scenes, with Laurel knowing full well that there is something on his mind.
Last week, Marshall returned home from school early, telling Laurel that he was feeling unwell, before retreating to his room, where he has more or less remained ever since.
Monday’s (April 24) edition of the ITV soap saw Laurel determined to get to the bottom of why Marshall was so upset, but the teen was resistant, reiterating that he actually is unwell.
Laurel offered a friendly ear, reminding him of the importance of talking about what’s on your mind, confirming that she often finds such a thing helpful.
