As part of the show, which is currently on its second series, the duo put their friendship to the test as they breathe new life into crumbling Italian homes and raise money for good causes in the process.
But while viewers may be used to seeing them on screen together, Amanda, 53, and 47 year old Alan’s friendship isn’t just for the cameras.
In fact, the pair first met over a decade ago. During his time as the presenter of Alan Carr Chatty Man, Alan welcomed the Britain’s Got Talent host onto his sofa in 2009.The pair clearly hit things off following on from that first appearance, with Amanda going on to appear on Chatty Man seven more times during the show’s time on air.
