Veteran manager Neil Warnock has admitted he would not have signed some of Manchester United's star players for his most recent club, Huddersfield Town, criticising the club's recent struggles.
Exactly 30 years after being appointed Huddersfield boss for the first time, Warnock, 74, returned to the West Yorkshire club in February this year, signing a deal until the end of the season.
Tasked with the improbable task of trying to keep them in the Championship, he - against the odds - kept them in the second tier and led them to an 18th-placed finish.
Following that success, he signed a one-year contract extension in the summer. However, he left the club in September after the club decided to head in a different direction, choosing to implement a long-term strategy.
