Alan Brazil has nudged Rangers legend Ally McCoist with a cheeky penalty dig as the punditry pair shared some laughs with Neil Warnock.The experienced manager famed for his work in the EFL appeared on the talkSPORT breakfast show hosted by the diehard Celtic fan Brazil, who couldn't resist a subtle jab at McCoist's beloved side.
Some punters in the green half of Glasgow have been quick to hit their rivals with 12-yard jibes in recent times and Brazil was no different.One of his former clubs, Ipswich Town, was discussed by Warnock after they beat Plymouth Argyle 3-2 at the weekend.
The former QPR boss was certain the Tractor Boys – currently occupying one of the automatic promotion spots in the Championship – survived a penalty scare after a foul by former Rangers defender George Edumundson on Mustapha Bundu.
Warnock said: "If you saw the game last week, I am a Plymouth fan, they are winning 1-0 at Ipswich. Gavin Ward, the referee, the kid's going through on goal, it's a penalty or a free-kick on the edge of the box and a sending off."He (the referee) is the only guy in the stadium that doesn't see it.
