It comes after viewers noticed that the food critic appeared 'unwell', leading to producers checking on her wellbeing. ITV later confirmed that the 50-year-old would leave the show after 10 episodes on "medical grounds".
In a statement, the broadcasting company said: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike." Announcing the news to the contestants, campmate Nick Pickard read a statement on Grace's behalf. He said: “My Dear campmates, I’m so sorry to let you down.
